This week I was happily invited to talk at a local chapter of the embroidery guild. I was asked to come share some of my fiber art and also to show what I have been doing with buttons in my encaustic work. Thankfully we had no rain and it was a lovely night to go and share my work. I am always a little taken back when I have to talk about myself and my art, but they seemed to enjoy it.
Today I went to Prattville and worked at the gallery. Currently we have the children's art show going on. Friday's are typically slow there. I am not sure when they did it but they have removed the Cahaba Tree. So glad I got this photo of it last year.
