What I am working on now!

Madison Approves- pins and all she decided this would be her nap-time spot today. The quilt top is finally stitched together. I might still add to it. I started this quilt in May 2012 as a follow along with Daintytime.net Sherri Lynn Wood. I do not follow the Iching as a spiritual daily practice, but found it useful as the random improvisational quilting method provided in this process. I used 15 Iching readings in total on my quilt and followed her process for the layout. The fabric used is mostly cotton and the bright greens pinks are hand dyed pieces that I found in a scrap box at Penland. I had been saving them for something and think this was the perfect thing. I really love the shadows of the chain link on the quilt and will miss how it looks like stain glass when hung in a window. I have selected a gray backing- now to decide on the finish size- will I add a border? I hope you are having a lovely spring- I still have three quilts in work the Mod Mood quilt I am slowly hand quilting. Chloe's Quilt is top-pieced and waiting.
